ROUND 1 - FINLAND
A fast flowing gravel rally. Suits a progressive tidy driving style. Be very careful of the many trees that line the sides of the track. They will damage your car and send you on a downward spiral away from victory. This is one of the hardest rallies to win. Aim for 4th-6th and treat anything more as a bonus. Don't go all out to win on this one if you're inexperienced, so then you won't try too hard and throw it all away.

ROUND 2 - GREECE
This is a rally which starts off well but gets more difficult. There are many HIDDEN big drops on the outside of corners that you can go flying down. You must ease off when approaching blind corners, only getting the power down when you are able to see what's beyond. That's good driving. It's very important to drive within your limits and keep the damage down. Be prepared to slip back late in the rally, but just accept it, and don't throw in the towel when it gets tricky. Do the groundwork in the first half and then concentrate on just trying to survive the later stages. If you stay out of trouble by taking it easy and not trying too hard, you can get a podium or win.

ROUND 3 - FRANCE
This is a less difficult rally than the others. Make hay on stage 3 and the reverse stage 6. These stages can be won, possibly with big margins. Stay out of trouble on the others, aiming for top 3 times rather than stage wins, and you will get a podium and be looking good for the win.

Sweden is many drivers' favourite rally. It is one of the best opportunities to grab a win and make up groound in the championship.
Just try to survive the ice lake on stage 2 without going wide everywhere and losing stacks of time.

ROUND 5 - AUSTRALIA
A tricky rally which demands much discretion as well as outright speed. There are many trees and other dangerous hazards lining the roads. This is a rally on which you can pick up shed-loads of damage. The trick is to hold back and focus almost exclusively on bringing your car home undamaged, and let the times take care of themselves (which you should find they will). Keep this attitude up throughout and you will do well. This rally rewards people who take care of their cars. Again, take pressure off by aiming for 4th - you may get something more.

ROUND 6 - KENYA
A tough rally, more difficult than Australia. It's best to just aim for a lower points finish on this one. This rally starts off ok but gets difficult. There are boulders and all sorts of hazards annd ditches to spoil your day. This is a tough one and you've just gotta go through it.

ROUND 7 - ITALY
Now this is both a tough rally and a very easy one. Italy is easy in that you can be so much faster than the computer cars. But it's very difficult in that the car can easily pick up massive amounts of damage. Most people make the mistake of trying to drive the wheels of the car and ending up in a vicious circle of destroying the car, making it slower and trickier to drive. The player then makes the mistake of trying even harder to make up for the deficiency and wrecks the car even more, and so on. If you can take a mature approach to this rally and just drive slower and in control, the rally will come to you. The win is there for the taking - it's that easy!

ROUND 8 - BRITAIN
The season ends with the toughest rally of all. These stages, which are a mixture of mud, gravel and tarmac, are ruled by Mcrae and will test you and your car to the limit. This rally is also an absolute car breaker. There are obstacles everywhere to smash your car to pieces. You must hold back and aim more realistically just for points. The rally starts off pretty difficult and gets harder and harder. It's very important to not accumulate damage or you won't stand a chance.
