COLIN MCRAE RALLY 2.0 - TEAMS AND DRIVERS
Car No. 1 - MCRAE
Ford Focus RS WRC 2000
Rank: 1st
Average Season % Gap From Best: 0.0%
Strongest Rally: Great Britain
Weakest Rally: Italy
MCRAE is the best driver in the championship. In fact, he has won every single season I've ever seen on CMR2. He has never lost in Finland and is unstoppable on his home rally of Britain. If you want to become champion, this is the formidable driver you must beat. The tarmac rallies are his weak point, so those are the ones you must win.

Car No. 2 - INGAULD
Ford Focus RS WRC 2000
Rank: 8th
Average Season % Gap From Best: +6.8%
Strongest Rally: Great Britain
Weakest Rally: Sweden
INGAULD is one of two drivers in the game who hover around the lower end of the top 10 in rallies. He can always be found battling with Huber. Ingauld has never scored a point on a rally where a player finishes in the top 6, though he can on some occassions beat Tizot to be the 6th best computer car on Great Britain. However, this is only if the player hasn't scored, which on Expert means the player has to attempt the rally again until they score points. This means Ingauld has never been listed in the final standings as having scored points, on Expert mode.

Car No. 3 - COOPER
Ford Focus RS WRC 2000
Rank: 15th
Average Season % Gap From Best: +13.0%
Strongest Rally: Great Britain
Weakest Rally: Sweden
COOPER is the weakest driver in the championship and is the driver most likely to finish last in a rally. He can often finish one or two places higher than 16th and more often than not can battle with computer drivers having a bad rally. But Cooper has never scored a top 10 finish and tends to finish the championship 16th and last.

Car No. 4 - DUGAS
Peugeot 206 WRC 2000
Rank: 2nd
Average Season % Gap From Best: 1.2%
Strongest Rally: Italy
Weakest Rally: Greece
DUGAS is the Peugeot team leader. A strong driver, he is always fighting tooth and nail with Baca for 2nd in the championship. Dugas is the best driver on Tarmac, and always wins Italy and almost always France too. He is very consistent and it's rare to see him finish out of the top 3 out of the computer cars on any given rally.

Car No. 5 - JONSSON
Peugeot 206 WRC 2000
Rank: 10th
Average Season % Gap From Best: 10.6%
Strongest Rally: Sweden
Weakest Rally: Kenya
JONSSON is often one of the leaders of the group of minor drivers that hover around or just outside the top 10. On most rallies he doesn't make an impression. Watch out for him on Rally Sweden though where he flies and can easily score points, and can even challenge his illustrious team-mate Dugas and finish ahead of Erikson in a Subaru!

Rank: 13th
Average Season % Gap From Best: 11.6%
Strongest Rally: Finland
Weakest Rally: Italy
Another Peugeot driver, UTZMAN is quite strong on the opening round in Finland, often running well in the top 10. But on other rallies he is weak, running near the back, and will normally finish last on at least one rally during the season.

Car No. 7 - BACA
Toyota Corolla WRC
Rank: 3rd
Average Season % Gap From Best: 1.5%
Strongest Rally: Greece
Weakest Rally: Italy
One of the fastest drivers in the championship, on his day BACA can beat anybody. And that day virtually always comes on the second round in Greece, where he dominates. Baca is also normally strong on the mid-season rallies of Sweden, Australia and Kenya, and he is a likely candidate to take a second victory in Kenya. However, weaker performance on the opening and final rounds, and also the tarmac rallies hinder his championship challenge.

A driver who for the most part delivers anonymous performances, JONES can nevertheless put in competitive drives on the Australian and Kenyan rounds of the championship. He can even contend for points on the former.

Car No. 9 - ERIKSON
Subaru Imprea WRC
Rank: 4th
Average Season % Gap From Best: 2.8%
Strongest Rally: Finland
Weakest Rally: Greece
ERIKSON finds himself in something of a no-mans land, not proving fast enough to topple the top 3 consistently, but most of the time well ahead of the Mitsubishi drivers. Erikson has never won a rally, but on a good day will take a podium finish. At his worst, he finds himself headed by Mitsubishi drivers and even local interlopers such as Kastis in Greece or Jonsson in Sweden.

Car No. 10 - HUBER
Subaru Impreza WRC
Rank: 7th
Average Season % Gap From Best: 6.4%
Strongest Rally: Kenya
Weakest Rally: France
HUBER is the number two driver at Subaru, and with good reason. Rarely able to get close to his team-mate, Huber can be found consistently battling with the Ford of Ingauld. On balance he emerges marginally ahead. Huber is capable of scoring points in Kenya on a good day, and can also perform to a good standard in Australia.

Car No. 11 - TIZOT
Mitsubishi Lancer
Rank: 5th
Average Season % Gap From Best: 3.6%
Strongest Rally: Italy
Weakest Rally: Great Britain
One of two talented Mitsubishi drivers, TIZOT along with team-mate Aikita are always in the battle for the lower points-paying positons. They are fairly evenly matched but Tizot specialises in driving on tarmac surfaces, and he can be expected to challenge the top drivers on France and especially Italy where at times he can come close to challenging Dugas for victory.

Car No. 12 - AIKITA
Mitsubishi Lancer
Rank: 6th
Average Season % Gap From Best: 3.7%
Strongest Rally: Finland
Weakest Rally: Sweden
AIKITA proves to be every bit a match for his team-mate on the five gravel rounds and one snow round, and can be expected to score competitive results on the rallies which bookend the season, Finland and Great Britain. He is unable to perform to the standard of his team-mate on the tarmac rounds however, and this loses him ground in the championship.

Car No. 14 - CANDIDO
Mitsubishi Lancer
Rank: 14th
Average Season % Gap From Best: 11.8%
Strongest Rally: Great Britain
Weakest
Rally: Italy
It's easy to forget that Mitsubishi also have a third driver. CANDIDO is unable to match the level of his team-mates Tizot and Aikita, and always fights with the minor drivers in the championship. He rarely if ever finishes last, however, and can perform quite well on Sweden. He has been able to finish in the top 10 and even get close to Tizot there.

Car No. 15 - KASTIS
SEAT Cordoba WRC
Rank: 9th
Average Season % Gap From Best: 8.3%
Strongest Rally: Greece
Weakest Rally: Sweden
As the lead SEAT driver, Kastis scores the highest result for the team on most of the rallies. Nowhere is this more true than in Greece where he usually drives brilliantly, and can give the lead drivers a fright, even running in a podium position early on. He will more often than not secure a points finish here for SEAT. Unfortunately, on no other rally does he even come close to repeating this performance, so if Kastis does not score points in Greece, SEAT will likely finish with none at all.

Average Season % Gap From Best: 10.4%
Strongest Rally: Greece
Weakest Rally: Sweden
A consistent driver, TRUMAN is never right at the very back of the field, but he also never comes close to challenging for points. Usually finishing around or just outside the top 10, Truman mostly finishes not too far behind Kastis and is occassionally able to edge ahead.
